TOP C OPEN BETWEEN NOTICE REGARDING: OFSC TOP C TRAIL FROM PARRY SOUND NORTH TO PORTAGE LAKE Parry Sound ON, January 7, 2005: As had been recently reported some properties south of Portage Lake have changed ownership this past year. This fall these new owners expressed that they do not wish the snowmobile trail crossing their property, thus potentially disconnecting the very popular TOP TRAIL C.
Today Parry Sound Snowmobile District, (PSSD) is pleased to announce that after lengthy communication with these property owners, the local snowmobile club, Carling Trailblazers have been able to re-secure land use for this season.
PSSD and the thousands of snowmobilers who enjoy the OFSC prescribed provincial trail system are grateful to the over 300 private landowners who generously donate the use of their property to PSSD in order to operate their 1100 kms of local snowmobile trails.
W e can all do our part in strengthening this relationship by remembering to RESPECT PRIVATE PROPERTY and NOT ACCESSING CLOSED TRAIL SECTIONSPSSD continues to make every effort possible to offer those who support the trail system with the purchase of trail permits the best possible product.
