A vital part of PSSDs Trail System, Carling Trailblazers Trail System provides close to 250 kms of trails running from Carling to Nobel and from Parry Sound east to Ardbeg and Dunchurch and then north to Pointe au Baril. The Carling Trailblazers Club was formed in 1982 with a membership of 15. Since that time enthusiasm and hard work has boosted the membership to almost 1,000! One of the most active social clubs in the area, the club grooms close to 250 km of 8 foot trails boasting picnic sites along the trail as well as gas, restaurants and accommodations. The Carling Trailblazers holds several social events during the year and with an active panel of volunteers sitting on their board you would be enthusiastically welcomed should you decide you would like to become a volunteer or assist with fundraising efforts. |
